AssocDBus students only

Dear Student,

We hope your studies this trimester have been progressing well and you are finding your time at UQ Ipswich to be a rewarding experience. However, we appreciate that University study presents many challenges, so if you are concerned about your academic performance and do not think you can continue your enrolment in a course; you can withdraw from trimester 1 courses via mySI-net before 22 March 2013.

A result of 'W' will be applied to the course and this will be listed on your studies report only. A 'W' does not contribute to your grade point average. However, you will retain financial liability for the course.

If you have special circumstances that might warrant the removal of that financial liability, you can make a separate application accordingly.

For more information visit myAdvisor at http://www.uq.edu.au/myadvisor/removal-financial-liability.

If your circumstances change after 22 March and you believe you have grounds to withdraw without academic penalty before your results are finalised for the trimester, for example because of the onset of serious illness or other special circumstances, you can apply in writing to your Faculty, requesting withdrawal. You would need to provide supporting documentation to substantiate the grounds for your request.

You are encouraged to consult staff in the Faculty, UQ College or Student Services for advice regarding any enrolment changes. Staff will be able to assist you in making a decision about the future of your studies. Before you make a final decision, stop and consider the implications, particularly if you are an international student who has student visa obligations.
