The University’s enrolment records indicate you are currently enrolled in Semester 2, 2013. The following information is intended to assist you to manage that enrolment.
 
You may also be enrolled in courses offered in one or more Teaching Periods linked to Semester 2, which have different census dates. Census dates for the courses in which you are enrolled are listed on your mySI-net Student Home Page. You can also find important dates at http://www.uq.edu.au/enrolment/index.html?page=93456.
 
 
Please note the Semester 2 census date:  31 August 2013
  •  Census date is the last date to cancel courses without incurring HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP or tuition fee liability.
  •  If you drop courses after the census date but before 30 September 2013, you will incur financial liability but no academic penalty (i.e you will not receive a grade for this course.
  •  The University does not normally allow students to enrol or add courses after the census date.  You should be aware that the University must charge full tuition fees to Commonwealth supported students who are approved to add courses after census date. The University has no discretion to allow courses to be added on a Commonwealth supported basis after the census date.
 
Please ensure your enrolment details are correct by census date by checking your program and courses through your mySI-net home page (http://www.my.uq.edu.au) and following these simple steps.
  1. Drop all the courses you do not wish to study in Semester 2, 2013.
  2. Complete all your outstanding tasks on mySI-net by checking the boxes on the right-hand side of your mySI-net home page.  Failure to add required information here can prevent you finalising your enrolment.
  3. Ensure that your mailing address, permanent home address and contact telephone number are correctly recorded on your mySI-net ‘Personal’ tab:
  • Australian mobile numbers are preferred and should be recorded as 10 digits without gaps (eg 0412345678 not 0412 345 678 or 0412-345-678.)
  • Permanent Home Address must be your actual address. Post Office boxes, places of employment or University addresses are not acceptable.
  • International students on a student visa must record an Australian semester residential address and local mailing address in mySI-net.
