Once a referral is received from the Integrity Officer, the decision maker has 14 business days in which to issue the student with an allegation notice.

Depending on your internal processes, school or faculty staff can apply the grade of RW to the student’s record once an allegation notice has been issued.

A reasonable attempt must be made to ensure the student has received their allegation notice. The notice should be sent via the student email address and ideally also by mail. If the student has not returned the plea form or indicated their attendance, a follow-up email or telephone call would be appropriate action. These attempts to contact the student should be recorded in your paperwork.
